Welcome to De Akker Guesthouse situated in the heart of Oudtshoorn on the famous Route 62 in the Klein Karoo.  De Akker is situated literally a minute’s walk away from Oudtshoorn’s ​favourite restaurants and shops, perfect for tourists and busy corporates. This beautiful sandstone gem was built in the early 1900's and has been renovated to be your home away from home.

We can accommodate up to 20 guests in our 7 luxury bedrooms. We serve a hearty and delicious warm breakfast daily with a selection of fresh seasonal fruits, yoghurt, cereals and freshly baked muffins.

The guest house accommodates guests in 5 luxury rooms or 2 self-catering units. The luxury rooms are tastefully furnished and contain a double bed or twin single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The family room features a double bed as well as a bunk bed for small children.

The self-catering units contain double or single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchenettes are well-equipped for a comfortable self catering stay. There are braai areas at each unit.  Breakfast is available at an extra cost.
