Geography and History
Oyster Bay is situated on the Sunshine coast of the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. Oyster Bay is situated between St Francis Bay and the border of the Tsitsikamma coast, and offers visitors a true nature lover's paradise. Oyster Bay has an extremely large coastal and marine biological diversity.
Oyster Bay is renowned for long stretches of sandy beach and a strong emphasis on preserving their natural environment.
Activities
Oyster Bay offers stretches of lovely sand dunes, woods, river deltas, lagoons, beaches and wetlands to be explored.
There are numerous hiking trails in the area.
Other activities include horse riding, mountain biking and fishing.
Oyster Bay is a destination to enjoy on its own, however, it is also perfectly situated to take daytrips to Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, Baviaanskloof or St Francis Bay. It is a perfect start or finish for your adventures along the Route 62 or The Garden Route.
