Du Kloof Lodge Accommodation

We offer a selection of comfortable single or double rooms, all with an en-suite bathroom. Each room has wi-fi and air-conditioning, as well as DSTV with 38 channels.

Inside Rooms: Located within the lodge itself, our inside rooms are ideal for those with a busy agenda. They are just a few steps from the Du Kloof Restaurant and Ladies Bar where you can enjoy a tranquil glass of wine while sinking your teeth into our juicy burgers and other succulent meals. Make yourself comfortable in this home away from home.

Courtyard Room: Our Courtyard Room is ideal for families as it is spacious, with a partial separation between the entrance which offers a sleeper couch opposite the TV, and the main sleeping area. Direct access to the courtyard enables parents to keep a closer eye on their children while playing outside. The bathroom offers a shower.

Deck Rooms: Our outside Deck rooms have wooden decks and magnificent views of the mountains. These rooms offer a bit more seclusion as they are not directly connected to the lodge. The bathrooms feature showers only.

Self Catering Chalets: Our self-catering chalets are ideal for families or friends travelling together. Chalets have two rooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, as well as a bathroom with shower. The chalets have a fully furnished kitchen, open-plan living room with a fireplace. 

The Dormitory: The dormitory is the ideal destination for large groups up to 30 people. School- or religious groups are classic examples of those finding a peaceful retreat here. 

 

Restaurant and Pub @ Du Kloof Lodge

The Lodge Restaurant overlooks the river and the beautiful mountain. Breakfast is served from 8am – 11am, after which our Ala Carte Menu takes over. Meals can be enjoyed either in the restaurant or out on the terrace with its magnificent views.

Our pub is an informal yet very cosy local hangout, which often hosts passing bikers and travel groups. Open until the last person leaves. Big Screen to cheer the Springboks on Rugby days. Smoking is allowed.

Weddings, Functions and Conferencing @ Du Kloof Lodge

We have become experts not just at hosting weddings or work conferences, but also engagements and birthdays, anniversaries, themed parties, end-of-year parties and many other special events.

We can cater for almost any type of function, and you’ll find that our traditional ‘Boerekos’ – chicken pie; braai buffets; spit braais; bobotie, roasts served with veggies, rice and potatoes – tend to turn every occasion into a celebration.
