Esona Boutique Wine Estate - Wine Estate & Restaurant situated in the Robertson Wine Valley, Western Cape
Esona is a Boutique Wine Estate, producing limited release wine from hand picked grapes by certified single vineyards nestled beside the Breede River on the R317 between Robertson and Bonnievale in the beautiful Robertson Wine Valley. Wines are bottles right here on the Estate.

Our wines are available at our boutique tasting room where you can make the most of our unique Esona Experience. Our wines are also available on our online shop where you can purchase wine by the case, or purchase our speciality 3 Vintage Collection and order a personalized bottle of Frankly My Dear.
Our wines are also available at select wine boutique stores and restaurants in Cape Town.
Esona Experience
Our century old cellar tasting venue is open Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00 and Saturday 10.00-16:00 where we offer wine tastings of our single vineyard limited release wines in grape specific RIEDEL crystal glasses.
Unique wine tasting experience in our candlelit ‘kuip’. Compare two vintages of our single vineyard limited release wines: Sauvignon Blanc – Chardonnay – Shiraz. Standard Tastings – Compare two vintages of each wine in RIEDEL glasses. Taste each of these single vineyard wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz. No bookings required.
Tastings & Pairing: Wine & confectionery pairing experience. A bottle or glass (125ml) of your chosen wine and a choice of confectionery.
Caryl's Bistro
Our upstairs bistro has a small but enticing menu that focuses on supporting local products for our platters and sandwiches. It also has a large deck surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the Breede River with views to the distant mountains.
